Nike Air 90 Shoe For Basketball

The Nike Air Force 90 is a basketball shoe which has been upgraded from it's predecessors in its style, comfort and performance. The shoe fits well and is great for competitive play. This review will go over some of the fundamentals of this shoe and give you a greater insight into what it can offer you.

Firstly the Nike Air Force 90 feels true to size when you put it on. This is due to the fit being quite tight and allowing your feet to stay firmly in place and feel much more natural in doing so. The mid and forefoot have a feeling of snugness and firmness in place as the overlapping layers are tied into place. Around the top of the shoe where the modern collar wraps around the foot is secured tightly in place as this is important for allowing the feet to transition.

In the heel it's not as tight allowing but is much more protected than the rest as there is a very durable outsole rubber there to protect it from any knocks or bumps. As with the cushioning the foot sits on a contoured bed allowing it to feel more natural and cushioned. This design also makes the Air max unit on the outsole feel much more noticeable.

The Nike Air Force 90 has an air max unit which looks like a bubble on the outsole which was just mentioned before. You may be wondering why that its there but it's actually there to absorb any shock from landing or awkward falls. When you land the shock will be absorbed by the air that's trapped in the unit thus causing less harm to your feet and giving you a much springier feel and a cushioned one at that.

When using the Nike Air Force 90 competitively you will notice that as soon as you put them on you will sense a secure feel. This may give you the impression it's going to be stiff when running but that actually isn't the case. When running in air force 90 shoes you will feel flexible and much more relaxed than you expect. This means you can concentrate on your game while the shoes do some of the stressful work for you.

A stable fit is also coupled with good cushioning as the base layer which runs across the padding at the bottom of the basketball shoe gives you a nice secure and cushioned fit. Grip on the bottom is simple but is mainly located around the heel and forefoot area where most of the impact takes place and where traction is needed.
